Member of the USPCA I inherited my love of cooking from my mom.(aka Mama Roberto). It was always my mom's dream to open her own restaurant and in 1985 her dream came true when she and my step father made the move to North Carolina to open the one of first Italian restaurant in Brunswick County, ''Roberto's Ristorante'. I followed my mom and her dream and spent the next 25 years as part owner of the very successful restaurant. Still owned and operated by my brother Chef Dave known for his friendly interaction and colorful chef pants!!
After adopting my son from Russia and shortly thereafter having my daughter I made the decision to leave the restaurant business to spend more time with my children. My children are now adults and I am once again pursuing my love of cooking. My love of cooking will reflect in every meal I prepare. I personally shop every ingredient for quality and freshness. I source my seafood, and meats locally. |
